Be fascinated with it’s diverse and rich history and colorful traditions. On the way, you might learn a word or two in Italian!
Carole P. Roman is back with another fantastic book and this time she takes us to Italy. Starting with the history of Italy (Roman Empire), Carole shares historical facts as well as pronunciation. Then we get some quicks facts such as names, food, popular games, sports and sights such as the Coliseum. Concentrating on the city of Rome, I learned quite a bit.
The illustrations were superb and this time, full-color drawings accompanied photographs.
This book is perfect for parents, teachers, librarians and homeschoolers. Children of all ages will love this educational trip to Italy, courtesy of Carole P. Roman.
Favorite Quote: “Rome is often called the Eternal City and the Caput Mundi or the Capital of the World because of its influence on western civilization.”
