Jurassic Park meets The Walking Dead all rolled into one adventure!
Welcome to Monsterland… let’s scare you to death.
I’m a big fan of this author and Monsterland doesn’t disappoint. Filled with classic creatures that go bump in the night, strong characters and an alternative glimpse into society.
I liked the concept of a theme park where you could see and touch vampires, zombies and werewolves in captivity. A horror zoo, so to speak. I mean, what could go wrong? Lots!
While the plot was at times predictable, the suspense was well-done. The author weaves a story any horror/paranormal reader will enjoy while not freaking you out with gore. I appreciate that.
Wyatt is a good character and dealing with typical teenage angst. I didn’t care for the bullying that took place but it’s commonplace in literature nowadays.
A ghoulish good tale and I recommend this book to any horror/paranormal fan!
