Confidence is Your Best Accessory #inspiration #MondayBlogs #MondayMotivation

Are you comfortable in your own skin?

Confidence in who you are is the best accessory any person can have.

Be comfortable in your own skin is about seeing yourself as a person of beauty. We all have flaws but all I see is beauty. Your Light shines brightly and it’s one of the things I love best about you.

When you are truly comfortable in your own skin, not everyone will like you, but you won’t care about it one bit!

What’s your advice to others on being more comfortable in their own skin? Do you have any tricks that help you exude confidence without being cocky? Share in the comments below!

  1. Tough question. I noticed a few months ago how there are so many commercials, shows, articles, and Internet posts geared toward ‘improving yourself’. The bombardment can be rather brutal for somebody with incredibly low self-esteem. Almost like society is built on a lack of confidence instead of the other way around.

  2. Clever post.Love the meme…very arty and true. I think we are all born with a natural confidence, but for some stupid reason, life happens, and we have to start with the basics….
…writing your successes in a jounal is one way…
    …practicing mindfulness/gratitude is another way…
…and sometimes, just smiling a youreself, when you are looking in the mirror can be another great way.

Confidence is sometimes mislabeled as arrogance/cockyness, yet true confidence doesn’t put people down, but at a deep level, inspires them to become greater.

  3. Awww, what a sweet idea ! Especially loved the focus on the boundaries between confidence and cockyness. I think that cockyness tips more into overconfidence and a little lack of humility. Confidence is necessary and I think the key to being comfortable in your own skin is to focus and highlight the things that you love about yourself!

I know that, for me, makeup helps my highlight the features that I like about myself without feeling like i’m “hiding”. It’s a little confidence booster! My blog actually touches on this and talks about raising awareness of the the ways in which makeup helps increase confidence for females with non-perfect skin. If you’ve got it, flaunt it!

Loving the positivity you spread throughout this blog ! Looking forward to reading more 🙂
