Bette & the Beast
Liza Penn
(Hotel Ever After, #1)
Publication date: September 13th 2016
Genres: New Adult, Romance

Bette owns Fairhaven’s only bookstore…but only barely. She’s struggling with bills, but she refuses to sell to the hotel mogul Richard Dickson because he only wants to tear down the beloved store and replace it with a hotel. Can these two find a compromise and save the bookstore?

My Review:

Bette is the owner of an independent bookstore in the small town of Fairhaven. Hotel mogul Richard Dickson wants to buy it but Bette refuses. She knows that he’s only going to tear it down to build a monstrous hotel instead. Her bookstore is more than a business; it’s a part of her. But as the bills pile up and her father pressures her to sell, she caves in. Bette’s in for a surprise when she discovers that Richard is not the cold-hearted man she assumes he is. Will she let him in or will they be worlds apart?

I loved this romance and read it in one sitting. Based on classic fairy tales, Liza Penn’s brand new series (Hotel Ever After) is sexy, romantic, full of alpha men and women, and I, for one, want to stay at this charming hotel. I connected with Bette immediately and the chemistry between Bette and Richard is electric! I was sad when I read the last page and will be reading this whole series.

If you’re looking for a sexy romance to curl up to on a winter night, 1-click this right now! Highly recommend and look forward to reading the rest of the series.

My Rating: 5+ stars
