Today’s a Fresh Start, a Blank Page so Make the Most of Today! #inspiration #FridayFeeling

fresh start

What’s your daily outlook?

Happy Friday, everyone! Today’s we’re talking about changing your outlook.

When you wake up in the morning, do you greet the day with a smile or a frown?

Even when I’m tired and feeling exhausted, sleeping through the alarm, there’s a little tingle of delight that courses through my veins as I get out of bed.

It’s a brand new day and I wonder what’s going to happen.

No matter what transpired yesterday or what will happen tomorrow, today’s a fresh start. Every sunrise signals a brand new day and you should remember that, especially today.

Don’t wallow in the past or pine for the future; grab today by the shirttails and take advantage of every opportunity!

Note: This weekend is a long weekend for us. Up here in Canada, it’s Victoria Day Weekend and we’re taking the next three days off. We’ll be back online on Tuesday.

Cherish Every Person and Moment in Your Life #inspiration #affirmations #kindness

Cherish every moment

I have been given new sight. I was blind but now I see how glorious life is and how precious every moment is.

Cherish every moment and every person in your life, because you never know when it will be the last time you see someone.

Life is too short to rush through life. Cherish every moment and look for the good in everything and everyone.

Be kind.

Tell those you love how much you love them.

Be happy with your circumstances, for it could be much worse.

Let go of anger and hatred.

Do it every day and you will see the world through new eyes.

If Today Were the Last Day of my Life… #inspiration #motivational #kindness

Last day

Is what I am doing today meaningful?  What if today was my last day on this earth?  Would what I am doing today matter?

What about you?  If today was the last day of your life, would you be wanting to do what you have scheduled today?

My answer, without hesitation, is YES!  Every day I wake up and thank God for another day.  I thank God for the air I breathe, the roof over my head, the unconditional love of my beloved MR N and the world that I live in.  I thank God for all my friends and family worldwide and the ability to connect using social media and this wonderful blog.

This quote focuses my perspective for today.  I am going to cherish everything I do and every person I encounter.  I am going to make every second count.  Tomorrow I may not be here and I want to be known as the person who made a difference!

Are you going to have the same focus as me?  Are you going to make every second count?

Cherish Every Moment and Every Person #inspiration #gratitude #thankful

Carpe Diem.

Seize the day, in Latin.

This motto has been a foundation in my life for the past 25 years. The truth is, no one knows when this will be their last day on Earth. Life is short so make the most of it.

In that same vein, I think it’s even more important to cherish every moment and person.

I’ve had people come and go in my life. I’m filled with gratitude for what they brought to my life and what they taught me.

Today (and every day), take a moment and let the gratitude soak into your soul. Watch a sunset. Sit out on your porch/balcony and smell the outdoors. Bask in the glow of all the good in your life. Then go inside and hug your loved ones. Share your gratitude with those in your life (even your annoying co-worker/neighbor, for they’re teaching you patience).

Cherish every moment and every person in your life, because you never know when it will be the last time you see someone.

I’m so thankful for each of you. Thank you for your undying support and for being a part of my life. You’re all bright shining Lights!
