Having a Bad Friday? Realize Tomorrow’ll Be Better #inspiration #FridayFeeling #stress

terrible day

Having a bad Friday?

Mr. N and I both woke up with horrific migraines. It’s raining cats and dogs outside, checked my email to find a birthday present for my grandparents has a shipping issues and I’m beyond exhausted. * looks around * Yup, this looks like a bad day.

We’ve all dealt with bad days and we need to remember the quote above. No matter how bad a day it is, we’ve just gotta get through it. For tomorrow may be the best day of our lives.

So, while MR N and I go lay down soon, let’s be gentle with ourselves and look forward to tomorrow.

No Matter What’s Happening in Your Life, You’re Flawless! #inspiration #love #motivation

Flawless MR N

Do you know that you’re flawless?

Yesterday, MR N was dealing with some stressful customer service issues. Talking with a co-worker he blurted out, “He wants flawless? Nothing in this world is flawless except for my beloved wife.”

Aww!

Yes, I have the best husband in the world. Yes, he’s loving and we’re an adorable couple. But that’s not what today’s inspirational thought is about.

For as long as I can remember, I have been my own worst critic. I beat myself up over the littlest thing and I can’t seem to break this vicious cycle. That is, until yesterday. When MR N told me what he said, it resonated deep within. I’m flawless.

I decided to do a little test for the rest of the day. Whenever a negative thought popped into my head, I’d counter it by whispering, “I’m flawless”. Not in a cocky way but in an honest way.

It worked. My self esteem lifted and my positive spirit returned.

Each of us are flawless. We’re a beautiful, rare jewel and we shouldn’t listen to others who say otherwise.

Take a moment, look in the mirror and repeat after me: I’m flawless. Mr. N and Mrs. N thinks I’m flawless. It’s the truth.

Nothing in this world is flawless except for you.

A Father’s Love is Strong and True so Let Him Know You Care! #inspiration #FathersDay #love

Daddy and me

A Father’s Love

A little girl torn from her daddy,

A daddy blocked at every turn,

An unconditional love that burned bright.

I love you daddy, she whispered into the night air.

I love you too, my angel, he whispers back.

Neither can hear the other but both smile.

Their love transcends the distance.

A woman now, she feels her daddy’s love,

Wrapping around her, protecting her.

She cannot see his ghostly face,

But knows he is with her always.

Nothing can separate them now.

The truth has set them both free.

Free to love each other as was destined.

Free to be her daddy’s angel,

Free to be her daddy, now and forever.

I wrote this poem back in 2008 and in it I delve into the relationship I share with my father.

A father’s love is strong and true. He guides his children to live a purposeful life, full of hard work and integrity. He’s the example of what it means to be a man.

This weekend, please take a moment and give your father/dad a call, text, email, etc. Three words is all it takes: I love you. Don’t delay because you never know when you’ll wake up and he’ll be gone forever. Don’t live with the regret that I live with.

Get Comfortable in Your Own Skin! #inspiration #ThursdayThoughts #grateful

comfortable-skin

Are you comfortable in your own skin?

After more than forty years, I’m finally comfortable in my own skin. I look at myself in the mirror and I like what I see. I’m still working on areas but my first thought isn’t to call myself ugly or fat. I’m healthy and so grateful to my body. Without it, I’d be nowhere.

Listen, we all have days when we don’t look or feel our best. But that’s not a reason to put down your body. Your body works hard and you should take care of it. One way to do that is to be kind to it. Give it some love and positive compliments.

Being comfortable in your own skin isn’t selfish or conceited. You’re not boasting; you’re loving yourself. It’s like putting on your favorite pair of jeans… you’re relaxed, cozy and feel good.

Instead of berating yourself for all the things wrong, take comfort in your body and who you are. Self-love is so important to your everyday health and it promotes an inner peace you can’t get anyplace else.

“I Feel Like I’ve Hit the Lottery!” Should be Your Mantra Today #inspiration #TuesdayThoughts

lottery

Do you wake up thinking your life would be perfect if you won the lottery?

I used to think this way. I work so hard every single day and it would be nice to not have to work so hard. If I won the lottery, I would retire and spend my days with MR N raising money to feed the homeless and those in need.

Just last weekend, MR N and I were talking about the lottery. He checked our tickets and we didn’t win anything but a free ticket. I sighed, disappointed by us not winning. MR N came into the bedroom and leaned against the door jam.

“Baby, I won the lottery the day I met you. I won the lottery when you told me you loved me for the first time. I won the lottery when you came back to me, for good. I won the lottery when you left your family and moved 3,000 miles away. I won the lottery when you said yes. I won the lottery every single day we’ve been married. I don’t need a lottery win… I’ve had several already.”

He’s right, you know? Life is a lottery win. Happiness and success are winning tickets within our reach. How to get it? Grab ahold and focus on what you have, not what you don’t have.

Listen, we all deal with life’s ups and downs. We get windfalls and nosedives. Our successes are the results of hard work, dedication and natural abilities. Our failures are just a detour on the super-highway of life.

Take MR N’s advice and take stock in your multiple lottery wins. You’re a winner, just like me!

Magnifying Blessings Instead of Disappointments Equals Happiness! #inspiration #MondayBlogs

blessings

Are you a positive or a negative person?

Back in my teen years, I was such a negative person. The Universe was against me, or so I thought, and I complained about anything and everything. It didn’t make me feel better and I truly believe that because I magnified the negative, bad things/people latched onto me.

More than 20 years later, I’m much more positive. I see my world in a brighter light, projecting my blessings instead of the crap that may or may not happen. You know what? I’m much more happier.

When we focus on the positives in our lives, instead of the negatives, we’re happier and healthier. Our perspectives are open to the possibilities and not closed off.

Today, magnify your blessings instead of your disappointments. Be thankful for all in your life, instead of what you don’t have. Your gratitude will have a huge impact, not only on your own personal views but on the world around you.

Being Healthy is a Way of Life so Get Moving! #inspiration #health #exercise

being healthy

Are you healthy?

For the first thirty years of my life, I was unhealthy. I did the yo-yo dieting thing as well as eating to comfort my insecurities. Talk about running the hamster wheel. I’d exercise at the gym to lose weight then feeling lonely and sorry for myself, I’d binge eat (mostly chips and chocolate). I’d feel guilty for being overweight (usually due to someone fat shaming me) and I’d hit the gym.

It wasn’t until I met MR N that my perspective started changing. MR N loved me for me, including the parts that were “jiggly”. But I didn’t like the way I looked or felt. I wanted to lose the weight and it had nothing to do with pleasing my husband. I was overweight and I needed to lose the weight or else I’d die of a heart attack by the time I’d reach 45. Talk about a wake-up call.

So, I gave up driving and a car (MR N didn’t drive anyway). I walked everywhere within a five mile radius and when I couldn’t walk as far as I needed to, I’d take a taxi or mass transit. I drank lots of water and ate smaller portions. I quit snacking all the time and took a hard look at why I was binge eating. I turned my inner insecurities around, with the immense help of MR N and his unconditional love, and the weight fell off. From 2004 – 2014, I lost 125 pounds.

Being healthy is not solely exclusively about losing weight. It’s about strength, energy, feeling good as well as looking good, staying motivated, making good choices and appreciating yourself without criticism.

So again I ask, are you healthy?

If not, take the steps necessary to make yourself healthy. Whether it’s physical, mental or spiritual, your health is so important. Your very life could depend on it so don’t delay!

Best Friends are With You, No Matter What so Thank Your Best Friend! #NationalBestFriendsDay

Best-Friend-Quotes-Quotes

Thank your best friend(s) today.

Today is National Best Friends Day and it’s time to let your best friend know how much they mean to you. Give them a call/text/message and make time to say thanks. You can meet up and say it in person or just let them know remotely.

My best friend is MR N. Now before you groan and say to yourself, “Geez, don’t you have any best girlfriends, MRS N?”, hear me out. I have had some wonderful best gal pals in my time but none have been as supportive and nurturing as MR N. Most of the time, I was the shoulder to cry on, I was the encourager and I was the uplifter. It’s okay, I didn’t mind being that kind of friend. But when I needed someone, I found it hard to find an available shoulder.

MR N was different from the start. He’d listen to me, encourage me and give me advice when I needed it. He loved me for me, even when I insisted we be friends first. Now, more than 15 years later, he’s still my best friend. I can tell him anything (and I mean A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G). He supports me, no matter what. His shoulder is always available for me to cry on and he makes me laugh, even at myself.

This morning, as MR N was getting ready for work, I thanked him for being my best friend. He smiled brightly and said, “You’re my best friend, beautiful. Thank you.”

Best friends make every day better and they’re one of life’s blessings. So, what are you waiting for? Let your bestie know how much you love them! Don’t delay!

Inner Strength is Putting One Foot in Front of the Other #inspiration #motivation #WednesdayWisdom

inner strength

Yesterday was a bad day.

Last Friday, I came home from grocery shopping to discover our kitchen sink broken. There was water everywhere and somehow the pipe detached itself from the underbelly of the sink. I called our landlord and she promised the plumber would come on Monday. I’ve yet to see the plumber and even though he agreed to come yesterday afternoon, he was a no-show.

On top of that, we ordered liquor online and it was supposed to arrive yesterday via Canada Post. Not only did we not get our liquor, the stupid carrier lied to my face when I went down to check to see if our package was on the truck. He said he was covering for the regular carrier and was only doing “the letters”. Parcels were on another truck. I took him at his word.

Instead of telling me the truth, he left a notice in my mailbox saying he couldn’t get into building and there was no buzzer. He lied. We don’t drive and don’t have a car. That’s why we order a lot of stuff online so we can have it delivered!

I called customer service and spent the next 30 minutes talking to an unresponsive, rude Canada Post employee. It took me forever but I managed to get her to process a re-delivery.

By the time 3:00 pm rolled around, I was lower than low and feeling so angry and frustrated, I started crying. I couldn’t handle anything else happening and started whispering, “I give up.”

MR N gave me a hug when he came home from his stressful day at work, reassuring me that everything was going to be okay. We’d deal with whatever comes.

I got through the bad day. It was tough and there were so many times that I wanted to just curl up into a ball and give up. But my inner strength wouldn’t allow it, wouldn’t allow me to throw in the towel.

When we have the lowest day ever and want to give up, we’ve got to dig deep and cling to our inner strength. We’ll make it through, no matter what.

There’s no miracle cure preventing bad days; they happen when we least expect it. In order to survive, we’ve got to grab ahold of our inner strength and persevere.

Here’s How You Can Change the World For the Better #inspiration #motivation #MondayBlogs

word to live by

Every morning, it seems, there’s violence and murder to accompany our breakfast. Terrorist attacks, death, people shot in the streets… it’s enough to make us want to give up. I mean, what can we do?

We can change our corner of the world by following the above quote.

By spreading love instead of hate, we’re combating the darkness with Light. By being kind, we’re unleashing a fantastic chain of events that will lead to positivity. By rounding up criminals, bad guys, etc., we’re showing that we’re not afraid anymore. There’s more good than bad in this world; it’s time we start talking about it.

Change your perspective and you’ll be on your way to changing the world!

Instead of Worrying, Accept Some Things are Out of Your Control #inspiration #motivation

happiness

Are you worrying about things that are out of your control?

Worrying doesn’t lead to happiness. All it leads to stress and unhappiness.

Yesterday, I felt like the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. From the time I started working (8:00 am) until the time MR N came home from work, I was an hour behind. I had a to-do list a mile long and kept whispering, “I’m late, I’m late, for a very important date.”

I had a choice. I could worry about how I was going to get everything done before 5:30 pm or I could work through my list, one item at a time.

Which one do you think I chose?

I went with the latter and it worked. Even though it felt like I was constantly behind, eventually I caught up and at 5:30 pm, I completed everything on my to-do list.

Worrying doesn’t do anything except distract you from getting a job done.

Take MR N’s advice: you never have to worry; all is in control.

Would you recognize me if I was walking down the street?

Would my Light give me away?

Would you stop and say hello?

Would you ignore me and keep driving?

Would you recognize me if I was shopping in the grocery store?

Would you smile and say hello?

Would you be too busy to notice my Light?

I’m just like you, surrounded by people who love me.

The only difference is that my mission is to spread the Light, smite down the darkness and uplift those in need.

I am one woman who’s recruiting you for her Kindness army! I want you!!!!

I come to the world to cast out the darkness and to fill the world with Light.

Good Friends are Like Stars… #inspiration #friendship #Tuesdaymotivation

good friends stars

Good friends are one of life’s blessings.

Throughout my life I’ve been blessed with good friends. These friends stuck by me through thick and thin. They laughed with me and held me while I cried. They were only a phone call away for every celebration and failure.

Today, I’m blessed with many good friends and although we’re thousands of miles apart, they’re only a tweet, email or phone call away. Whenever I have good news to share, I drop them a line/tweet. I think about these special people almost every day and they’re in my prayers constantly.

No matter the distance, good friends are always there for you.

Today, take a moment and reach out to your good friends. Thank them for their friendship and tell them you’re thinking of them.

Red Nose Day

Happy Red Nose Day!

Today in the UK and the United States, it’s Red Nose Day, a collaborative fundraising event. Through the power of entertainment, Red Nose Day raises awareness and money to help the kids who need us most, both at home and around the world.

Opportunity is Always Knocking so Turn Down Your Self-Doubt! #inspiration #WednesdayWisdom

opportunity-self-doubt-station

Is your self-doubt preventing you from achieving your dreams?

Five years ago, I had the opportunity to write my first manuscript. MR N had just received a raise at his work and I could resign from my position and write. My self-doubt cranked up and all I could think is that I couldn’t possibly do it. I was too old, too inexperienced and wouldn’t possibly finish it. I’d start strong, like I always do when I start something new, and eventually drop it for something else.

This was a dream of mine and I was determined to see it through. This time, self-doubt wouldn’t win because I had a secret weapon: an accountability partner. I named MR N my partner and he helped me stay on track. He supported me in every way and soon my self-doubt shrunk to a whisper.

Opportunities are knocking. Tap, tap, tap. Can you hear it? No, then you have to turn down your self-doubt. Take control of the volume and you’ll be on your way to achieving your dreams.

Patience is Nothing More Than Having a Good Attitude While Waiting! #inspiration #ThursdayThoughts

Patience-quote

Do you hate waiting as much as I do?

I’ve never been good at waiting, especially for something I’ve been wanting to do/see/experience. I remember when I was an early teenager and I got the opportunity to meet my crush, Kirk Cameron. This was the high point of my life, up until then, and I was the biggest Growing Pains fan in my town. My grandmother and I stood in line for what seemed like an eternity, but was only probably three hours. When it was my turn, I nearly fainted.

“What’s your name?” Kirk asked with a smile.

I told him and handed him a picture of him to sign.

He did a double-take. I had an unusual spelling.

“With a N?” he asked.

I felt my cheeks burning. I couldn’t believe I was talking to Kirk Cameron, the boy I had been dreaming about for years. All I could do is nod.

“Wow, what a beautiful name.” He bent down and autographed the Teen Beat picture. When he handed it back to me, he spoke softly, “A beautiful name for a beautiful girl.”

I giggled and lowered my eyes. I was shy and didn’t know what to say. When my grandmother nudged me, I blurted out, “T-t-thank you. You’re my dream…”

He chuckled and I giggled harder.

We left after that and I’ll never forget his kindness. He was a celebrity yet took the time to make a shy teenage girl’s year. His framed autographed picture sat in my room until I graduated high school. It was one of my most prized possessions and it wouldn’t have been possible without patience.

Patience is hard, especially when it’s something you really want. I struggle with patience on a daily basis. It takes a lot of effort for me to silence the inner critic and focus on keeping a positive attitude.  The ironic thing is when you focus on your attitude rather than the waiting, patience becomes a little easier.

What do you do when waiting? Are you patient? Any tips on patience?

Share in the comments below and let’s help each other be more patient.

Struggles Are Nothing More Than Strength-Training Classes! #wednesdaywisdom #inspiration

struggle-dont-give-up

Are you struggling with something right now?

Good. Welcome to today’s Universe Strength-Training Class. You won’t need to wear work-out clothing and shoes; come as you are.

We all deal with struggles. It can be a work deadline, school project, disease/illness, loss of someone, etc. Struggles aren’t meant to punish you for something you did; struggles test your mettle and prepare you for what’s coming next.

A few months ago, as you may remember, I went through a struggle. Our tax bill was more than we expected and in the matter of two months we had to come up with $800. Anxiety filled me while MR N was calm. MR N created a plan and we followed it. My stomach churned every day but I persevered. At the eleventh hour, we received a bonus and it was exactly the amount we needed.

Going through that experience taught me a lot. I channeled every ounce of strength I had (and borrowed the rest from MR N) and came out the other side. It wasn’t pretty, let me tell you, but I got through.

Struggles force us to look inward and gather strength, sometimes strength we didn’t know we had in the first place. It prepares us for the future and purifies us. Purifies us? Yes, like gold or silver, the fire of struggles burns away the impurities surrounding our soul, leaving a clean, fresh spirit.

Welcome to the Universe’s strength-training series of classes. I’m ready to get started. Who’s with me?

Daddy and me

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain.

Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?

A smile from a veil?

Do you think you can tell?

Did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?

Hot ashes for trees?

Hot air for a cool breeze?

Cold comfort for change?

Did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here.

We’re just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,

Running over the same old ground.

What have we found?

The same old fears.

Wish you were here.

Wish You Were Here – Pink Floyd

Nineteen years ago today, my dad died. He was run over by a truck on a dark, cold street. In one moment, my life changed and I’ve never been the same. The grief still burns in my soul and I wish with every ounce of my being that I had a chance to say good-bye. So, I do the next best thing: I live each day to the fullest and spread love wherever I go.

Life is short, too short in my opinion, and you never know when you’ll loved ones will be gone.

My father taught me many lessons but the biggest one he taught me is to love everyone, no matter who they are or where they’ve come from. He taught me the importance of forgiveness and loving your enemies. But it’s his death that taught me the importance of saying, “I love you.”

This Pink Floyd song is one of our songs and he loved singing it to me. Why this song? For this stanza:

We’re just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,

Running over the same old ground.

What have we found?

The same old fears.

Wish you were here.

I wish you were here, Dad. I’d give you a hug and tell you one last time how much I love you!

Today, call/write/email/text/emoji your loved one and tell them those three magical words:

I love you!

Strength Doesn’t Come From Winning but From Overcoming Pain #inspiration #motivation

strength-as

How much strength does it take to overcome pain?

525 push-ups.

This morning, as I was coming out of the washroom, Mr. N grunted in pain. He was doing his second set of push-ups. I asked him if he was okay. His response: a nod. When he was finished, he did a victory lap and I blew him a kiss.

“Oh baby, I did it. I didn’t know if I could because of this lower back pain.” He pointed to an area of back muscles on his right side. “Right here.”

“Way to go, my love. I knew you could do it! See, you didn’t know if you could make it but then your strength kicked in.”

He smiled and then it hit me. Mr. N’s morning push-ups are a metaphor for life.

When we feel down and can’t take another step, our inner strength kicks in and we have the extra energy/motivation/resolve to see it through. Victory is in our grasp.

We’re all going through our own personal struggles and while it seems pointless right now, in reality, they are building up our mental muscles. Hardship is the best personal trainer in the world.

So as you go about your day and run into a roadblock, think back on Mr. N and how he pushed through the pain to get his push-ups done. If he can do it, then so can you!

#ThankfulThursday: I am Thankful for Those Who Said No! #inspiration #ThursdayThoughts

thankful

What are you thankful for today?

I’m thankful for those people who told me no.

“You can’t be an artist because you can’t draw.”

“You can’t be beautiful because you’re not model-thin.”

“You can’t be a successful author because you don’t have a literary agent.”

“I’m sorry but we can’t promote you due to your potential to someday go on maternity leave.”

“You can’t be as happy as you seem because that only happens in television sitcoms.”

“We’re sorry to inform you that you haven’t been accepted.”

No. No. No. I’ve been through so many rejections that I could plaster my home with them. For one reason or another, these people thought I was inferior in some way. I wasn’t the right sex, age, talent, look, etc. I could’ve gotten angry but I did the next best thing. I proved them all wrong.

For every door that closed, another one opened. Sure, the journey wasn’t always smooth and I went through my fair share of mistakes, heartache and tears. At the end of the day, I took each No as motivation to turn it into a Yes.

Think back on your life and remember a time when someone told you no. What did you do? Did it motivate you to prove them wrong?

Give thanks for the Nos and celebrate each victory.

I’m so grateful to those people who pushed me to succeed, no matter the odds. Without their road blocks, I never would’ve known true happiness and fulfilling my dreams.

The Secret to Success in Life is to Have Greater Goals! #inspiration #goals #WednesdayWisdom

goals

How’s your yearly goals (New Year’s resolutions) going?

We’re five months into 2017 and I’m gaining ground on each of my goals. Here’s a recap of my 2017 goals:

Personal –

– I resolve to panic less. This is something I continue to work on. Stress tends to kick my butt and I move quickly to panic. I know, I know, I should really take my own advice. lol!

– I resolve to exercise four times a week.

– I resolve to pamper my body/skin. My body does the best it can and the older I get, the more I need to take care of it.

– I resolve to snuggle/kiss MR N lots. This is a fun one and something we’re both interested in. lol!

Professional –

– I resolve to increase our author promotions business by 25%.

– I resolve to write four times a week. My muse is kicking my butt and threatening a hunger strike if I don’t start writing again. Time to get back to writing.

– I resolve to leapfrog Amazon Rankings in 2017.

– I resolve to publish an Inspirational Thought book.

So, how am I doing? I’m surpassing all my personal goals with ease. It was a challenge in February to not panic due to the tax bill but MR N helped me in that area. He was the calm in the storm and I clung to him.

As far as professional goals, here’s an update:

– As of today, we’ve increased our author promotion business by 20%. I’m working really hard to expand our clientele and get the word out.

– I’ve been writing at least three times a week. When I was sick with that bad virus, I didn’t have the energy to write. I’m healthy once again so I am back to writing. Princess of the Light 2 is coming along nicely. I’m also writing my inspirational thought book.

– Part of our business model is to increase our reputation as book reviewers and so my goal of leapfrogging the Amazon Rankings was a no-brainer. Over the past five months, I’ve worked hard to climb the Amazon Rankings. I’m thrilled with the results. As a happy bonus, we’re also climbing the Goodreads Rankings. My goal is within reach and I couldn’t be more proud.

– I’ve been writing inspirational thoughts on this blog for several years and it’s time to publish it. I’m collecting and organizing the thoughts and I’m hopeful for a September release.

So, here’s the big question for you to think over today:

How’s your yearly goals coming along? Have you already reached it or are barely started?

It’s all good, either way. If you’ve already reached your yearly goals, create new ones. The journey to success, like the quote says above, is to constantly create greater goals. It stretches you as a person and you’ll be amazed by the results.

If you haven’t started on your goals yet, it’s not to late to get going. It’s only May and you’ve got seven months to go. Look over your goals and recommit yourself.

The secret to success is easier than you think. By challenging yourself with greater goals, you’re on your way to immense success. I never thought I’d be where I am today but by goal-setting and persevering, I’m successful. If I can do it, so can you!

How’s your yearly goals doing? Share in the comments below and let’s keep each other accountable!

Are You Taking Time for Solitude? #inspiration #TuesdayThoughts #stress

summer vakay solitude

Are you taking time away from work, family and obligations?

We’re all living very busy lives. We have things/people/activities clamoring for our attention. Whether it’s our phone ringing off the hook, text messages pining our device or our boss emailing in the middle of the night, it’s hard to escape it all. We feel strung out and exhausted.

Find some solitude.

“What? Is she crazy?” I know you’re thinking this but hear me out.

Turn off your device and take some time away to rest, rejuvenate and recenter yourself.

I co-run (with MR N) a business from home and it would be easy for me to work around the clock. I mean, I have clients from all over the world and they email me 24/7. I know that if I did that, I would be a stress monster and no one wants to see that. Instead, I work from 6:30 am until 5:30 pm. I clock in and out like a day job. I take a 30 minute lunch and have a few breaks during the day.

Why do I do this? I need time away to spend quality time with my husband (Mr. N) and to rest.

Life is in constant motion, like the ocean, filled with low and high tides. Even the ocean rests (low tide). Seek solitude, even if it is for a few minutes a day. You’ll be more productive and less stressed.

Could you use a dash of confidence to start the week?

I sure could!

There isn’t a person alive who couldn’t use more confidence, except for certain political leaders.

I’m struggling with seasonal allergies and it’s been challenging to get good sleep. When I’m sleepy, my confidence slips and I second-guess myself. I need a booster shot of confidence. So, I looked over the above quote to gain confidence.

Confidence not only helps us achieve our dreams but makes us feel good. We see ourselves the way others see us and positivity flows in our veins.

Which of these five tips are you going to incorporate into your everyday living?

I’m going to concentrate on #1. I’ve been comparing myself with others (both in my professional and personal life) and all it’s made me is self-conscious. I’m a contributing member of society and have a lot to offer. My writing inspires others and my experience helps others achieve success. I have a lot more to do so I better get started.

Have a great week, everyone!
